Visitor Information

Admission to the Gallery is always FREE.

The Gallery is located on the TCU campus in the Sid Richardson Science Building at the corner of West Bowie Street and Cockrell Street. Monday through Friday mornings are reserved for groups of 10 or more that have made a previous appointment to visit the gallery. For more information please see Educational Outreach.

Gallery Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday 1:00–4:00 p.m.
The Gallery closes on all University holidays (click here for a list of all TCU holidays)
We will be closed on on April 8th so that everyone can be outside to enjoy the total solar eclipse here in Fort Worth.

Directions and Parking

The Monnig Meteorite Gallery is located on the Texas Christian University campus in the Sid Richardson Science Building at the corner of West Bowie Street and Cockrell Avenue.

There are several metered spaces located in front of the Sid Richardson Science Building on West Bowie Street and on Greene Avenue. The meters are operated by the City of Fort Worth and cost 25 cents for 12 minutes, with a maximum time limit of 2 hours. There is a TCU visitors parking lot on Lubbock Avenue (see map). To park in the visitor lots, all visitors must first pick up a visitors’ parking permit from the TCU Police Department which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The TCU Police Department is located at 3025 Lubbock Avenue and their phone number is 817-257-7930.
