Teacher Pre-Visit and Post-Visit Program

Inservice Presentations
Meteorite-Related Loan Kits
Program Access
Reservations
Reservations are required and can be made for
groups of students in Grades 3 - 12. To insure that we can accommodate your
group on your desired date, we recommend that you call or email to make your
reservations as early in the school year as possible.
Days & Hours
Tuesday through Friday between the hours
of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Cost
Currently there is no charge for our educational
meteorite program for school groups. This is due to the generosity of Oscar
E. Monnig.
Group Size &
Structure of Tours
Due to staffing and facility constraints, at the present time we limit school
groups to no more than 100 students. To accommodate larger groups than this,
we recommend that you divide your group up and make reservations for the smaller
groups on separate days. Groups larger than 30 but less than 100 will be divided
into smaller groups and will rotate through the tour and the hands-on inquiry
science activities. A sample rotation schedule if provided below.
